All teams must attend Ranking Session 3/Finals in January. Teams should plan to attend at least one of either ranking session 1 or 2. Teams that do not attend either of these sessions will be ranked below all teams that did attend a session during alliance selection.
This is a 100% volunteer-run event. We ask that all registered teams provide a volunteer for at least one session, such as setup, cleanup, field reset, team queuer etc. Volunteer signups will be shared with the coaches of registered teams.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Sign-ups for each session and the TRL tournament will be posted here and on the TRL website volunteer page a few weeks before the event.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Registered coaches will be notifified in case of event cancellation via email.
Rescheduling will be on a case-by case basis.
Refund and Payment Policies
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds will be issued to teams that cancel before the registreation deadline.
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
If the event is cancelled before the registration deadline, refunds will be provided. TRL operates under a 501c3 non-profit. Most event costs need to be paid in advance of the event. If TRL is cancelled after November 1st and not rescheduled due to weather or unforseen circumstances, no refunds will be given.

Duke Energy Hall is on the second floor of the Hunt Library. From the Partners Way, enter Robot Alley and check out book bot, then go up the big yellow staircase to the lobby. Duke Energy Hall will be on your left (North end of the building).
Hourly parking is available in the Poulton Pay Lot across the street from the first floor entrance to the Hunt Library, and at the Partners Way Parking Deck, located a few blocks north.
Parking in either location is free after 5pm. Before 5pm you will need to pay using pay station (debit and credit cards only). You can also pay online through ParkMobile.

Judging Format
Judging format is TBD. Judging may occur in-person at Ranking Session 3, or remotely between Session 2 and 3.
