General Info

Robot Skills Challenge Offered: Yes

Judging Format: In-Person judging and in-person notebook submission. If your notebook is digital, you will need to bring a printed copy to the event. 

Please be sure to complete the online participation release form.

This will be a full in-person event. 

All appropriate COVID-19 protocols will be in place.

We are also collecting food and basic necessities to help needy families in the surrounding communities.  Please be as generous as you can at this time of the year.  Remember, it is a TREAT to GIVE, and that's NO TRICK.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Setup Day Agenda

3pm-9pm  Field and tournament setup.  We would appreciate help with setup.  We will begin at the end of the school day and work until we are done.  In return we will feed you and offer those all important community service hours.  Thank you!

8:30am- Team Meeting

9am- Match Play Begins

12pm- Lunch

1pm- Match play begins

3pm- Alliance Selection and Finals Matches

5pm- Team Load-out & Clean-up

The event takes place inside.  No refunds will be given.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

There is no expectation of the event being cancelled- No refunds will be given.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refund will be given.

Travel Info

Mountain Pointe High School Is located West of the I-10 Freeway between the South Loop 202 San Tan Freeway and US-60 Freeway.  

From Flagstaff & Northern Arizona: Take I-17 South to the I-10 Freeway.  Merge onto the I-10 East.  Take Exit 158 for Warner Road.  Turn right/West on to Warner Road to 48th Street.  Turn left/South onto 48th Street to East Knox Road.  Turn right/West onto Knox Road.  Enter the school using the second entrance on the left side of Knox Road.

From Tucson & Southern Arizona: Take I-10 West.  Take Exit 159 for Ray Road.  Turn left/West on Ray Road to 48th Street.  Turn right/North onto 48th Street to Knox Road.  Turn left/West onto Knox Road.  Enter the school using the second entrance on the left side of Knox Road.

From West Metro Phoenix: Take US-60/I-17  East. Merge onto the I-10 East.  Take Exit 158 for Warner Road.  Turn right/West on Warner Road to 48th Street.  Turn left/South onto 48th Street to Knox Road.  Turn right/West onto Knox Road.  Enter the school using the second entrance on the left side of Knox Road.

From East Phoenix: Take US-60  West.. Merge onto the I-10 East.  Take Exit 158 for East Warner Road.  Turn right/West on Warner Road to 48th Street.  Turn left/South onto 48th Street to Knox Road.  Turn right/West onto Knox Road.  Enter the school using the second entrance on the left side of East Knox Road.

Alternatively, take the South loop 202 San Tan Freeway to the I-10 East.  Exit on Ray Road.  Turn left/West onto Ray Rd.  Turn North/right onto 48th Street.  Turn left/West onto Knox Road.  Enter the school using the second entrance on the left side of East Knox Road.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges
