Join us for Searcy Over Under High School Edition! This is hosted by Matrix Robotics. This is a VEX VRC Over Under" tournament for High School teams.  More information will be sent out closer to the event.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

8:15 am- Volunteer training for referees, judges, and field staff

9:45 am- Inspections need to be done

10:00 am- Qualifications, skills challenges, and judging 

12:00 pm- Lunch

1:00 pm-  Qualifications, skills challenges, and judging 

2:30 pm- Skills challenges end

3:00 pm- Qualifications End

3:15 pm- Alliance Selection

3:30 pm- Eliminations

4:45 pm- Awards

5:00 pm Clean-up

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event partner will contact teams if the tournament is postponed due to inclement weather. Teams should ensure their contact information is current in their RobotEvents.com account and include school and non-school numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will only be awarded if the event is ultimately canceled. The $5 fee charged by RobotEvents is non-refundable.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refunds other than if the event partner cancels.

 

 

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
