General Info

Welcome to the Western Pacific Robotics Academy (WPRA) New Year Qualifier. This event is on a Friday most students have off.

Skills: This tournament will offer skills in the morning and during lunch time. Teams are encouraged to check-in and pass inspection promptly. There will be also skills on Jan 4, 2023 4-8pm.

Judging: This tournament will also offer judging. Teams are encouraged to come prepared with their physical engineering notebooks. 

Travel: Search "Western Pacific Robotics Academy" in Google maps for exact location. 

Lunch: We will do a pizza order. There will be a concession of snacks and drinks.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency/bad weather, the tournament will be postponed/cancelled and teams will be notified via phone/email. 

Refund and Payment Policies

Cancellation: Teams can cancel with 1 week notice. Teams that cancel with less than 1 week notice, will be billed for the full cost of the event if the waitlist is exhausted and your spot is empty.

Payment Methods: Cheque is preffered made payable to Western Pacific Robotics Academy Society, E-transfer, Cash

It is a large building, check google maps for location of the unit. 

Take stairs behind red brick wall.  

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
