General Info
Welcome to the VRC Over Under Tournament at Sloan Canyon. This is a Nevada State Championship qualifying event. Tournament will be held on January 20th, 2024 at Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon located at 655 E Dale Ave Henderson NV 89044. Parking is available at the school.
We are planning 6 qualification matches per team. Skills challenge will be offered and Judging will consist of Digital Notebood submissions and in-person interviews. Be sure that consent forms for all attendees are uploaded prior to the event. The form can be found here: REC Foundation Participant Release Form (smartwaiver.com)
Parking Instructions:
Enter the parking lot off of Dale via Amigo street. Use the gate entrance west of football field. The event is located in the gymnasium. The pit area and a practice field are located in the MP room next to the gym.
Refreshments:
Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase in the pit area (MP Room) all day. We will also have food trucks available during lunch time outside.
Water Fill Stations:
There are water fill stations available in the gym lobby and the pit area (MP room). Feel free to bring a water bottle to refill throughout the day.
Bathrooms:
There are two bathrooms located in the gym lobby and two additional bathrooms are located in the pit area (MP room).

This is an indoor event. While emergency weather conditions are not expected, reasonable effort will be made to inform teams of any rescheduling or cancellations due to emergency/bad weather.
Refund and Payment Policies
No Refunds will be offered, except for extreme circumstances determined by the event partner.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Submission deadline is January 14, 2024.
