12:00 - 1:30 - Lunch and Skills Challenge on Main Fields

1:00 - 2:30 - Qualifying Matches

2:45   Alliance Selection

3:15 - Elimination Rounds

4:00 - Awards Ceremony

5:00 - Clean up by local coaches, parents, and team

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the weather is terrible and travelling to Salt Spring Island is not possible, we will refund funds and / or cancel the tournament. 

Keep an eye on the weather and we will also notify all teams by email if weather becomes a factor.

Please make sure your contact information is up to date in Robot Events.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be available.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds available up to 48 hrs prior to the tournament.

Travel Info

Teams travelling from Victoria will need to catch the 7am ferry leaving Swartz Bay to arrive by 8am.
Teams travelling from up island will need to catch the 7:40 ferry leaving Crofton to arrive by 8:20am.

Ferry returning to Swartz Bay departs Salt Spring (Fulford terminal) at 5:50pm or 7:50pm.
Ferry returning to Crofton departs Salt Spring (Vesuvius terminal) at 5:30pm, 6:45, or 8:30pm.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
