Welcome teams,

Urban STEM is pleased to be back after our COVID absence. This event will be held at Waltrip High School. Location:

1900 W 34th St, Houston, TX 77018

Once you have arrived at Waltrip, please follow the signs for unloading equipment and parking.

Concessions Available

Please bring a possible volunteer for field reset.

All volunteers get a free concession ticket. Student volunteers can receive community service hours as Urban STEM is a non-profit organization. for service hours please bring your school issued forms. Let us know at check in if you are volunteering, we will assign you to an area. Your forms will be signed by the adult in charge of your assigned area once you have completed your hours.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refunds

 

Judging Format

 

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
