Hello Everybody!
It is my pleasure to bring you the third annual Capital Beltway Challenge robotics competition. We're looking forward to seeing you all on Dec. 16.

Pizza and Chik Fil-A preorders are available. Orders are requested for an entire team, not individual squads, and are due by Tues. Dec. 12. Food can be made here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfgLPlTDG2iSDCcbpoOy7LeOlNeUEt6TQOVrZlop8iDj59yeg/viewform
Additional concessions including water, sodas and snacks will be available during the touranment.
Concession and pizza payment can be taken by cash, money order, or Square transaction.
Volunteers are greatly appreciated. We still need Referree assistants, Inspection and scorekeeping.

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Breakfast, lunch, coffee, and snacks will be provided, so please consider volunteering.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event that inclement weather at the event location, emails about closure or cancellation will be sent out the night prior to the event if possible. Refunds or rescheduling will be announced by the end of the day Dec. 16. Inclement weather in other parts of the state or region will not be grounds for a refund.
Refund and Payment Policies
Refunds will be 75% of the entry fee. Refunds will not be given to cancellations beyond Nov. 18.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
