General Info
This event is for Kansas high school teams only. We will have one competition field and one skills field.
Teams may pay by check on the day of the event (please notify the event partner) or may make arrangements to pay online up to the day before the event to avoid the refund process if the event has to be canceled. Simply select "pay later" when checking out for registration.
COVID rules (subject to change):
- All unvacinated people are encouraged to wear a mask.
- All vaccinated people are encouraged to wear a mask.
- Any person who has tested positive for Covid, has had symptoms, or has been exposed to someone who tested positive in the last 14 days should not attend the event.
- Teams should bring a bottle of hand sanitizer for their pit table and sanatize/wash often.
- We will have a concessions stand serving lunch options. An email will be sent to coaches after registration.
Participation and Consent Form - All participants must complete the consent form online before attending the event.
Waiting List - If this event is full, please add your team to the waitlist and contact the event partner, there are often last minute cancelations in which case I will start at the top of the waitlist

If you are interested in helping at a robotics event or helping mentor a team please contact me. Some of the roles at an event are: set up, tear down, concessions, referees, judges, running tournament software and MC. If you would like to help at this event or future events contact the event partner. Some of these roles do require training before the event.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If the weather gets bad enough that the minimum number of teams won't be able to make it then we will cancel the event. If your team has decided not to attend due to weather please contact Chris Goble on the phone number listed for day of event immediately.
Refund Policy
In the event the tournament is cancelled by the hosting school, teams will receive a refund. Teams may pay be check, the day of the event (please let the event partner know if you are doing this) or click "pay later" at registration. This is to avoid the refund process. For teams that have already paid, they need to request a refund 48 hours before the event begins in order to recieve a refund. The $5 RobotEvents fee is nonrefundable.

Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
