General Info
Welcome to the Farmingdale Spin-Up qualifier!
We are looking forward to opening our competition season with you! Please make every effort to arrive on time (between 7:30 and 8:00AM) and have your robot ready to pass inspection as soon as you arrive.
Reminder: students need to have uploaded a digital copy of an engineering notebook before 11/11. However, the file may be updated after that date, and students mayl want to have access to this while speaking with judge teams. It is suggested that they have a physical or downloaded copy for their interview.
Judge interviews will begin at 9:AM and will be scheduled. Judges will also observe teams in the pit and competition areas. Judges will be in-person, but some judge teams may have a virtual member as well.
Address: 150 Lincoln St, BUT this lot may be closed...Use the Woodward Parkway lot entrance. If you come by bus, please drop off at the Woodward Parkway entrance and direct your bus driver to park around the block behind the school at the Intervale Avenue entrance.
Please see attached documents and have your students familiar with the rules of the game, the judging format and the items that will be checked at inspection. Reminder that your team members should also have completed the VEX release forms with parent signature prior to arrival.
