General Info
Welcome to the first ever Kansai VEX Robotics Scrimmage!
This is to help teams prepare for the national qualifier tournament for this season's game: Spin Up! The cost of this scrimmage is free but we will have t-shirts and bags for sale.
Teams also will recieve a Kansai VEX Robotics cloth bag to commemorate the day with some other goodies inside!
This is for high school VRC only.
The Robot Skills Challenge will be offered, and will be the default if we do not get more than 4 teams registered.
We will do in person judging and will be judging engineering notebooks. This is a great way to get some feedback before the major tournament.

Volunteer
Please contact patty-fawcett@oyis.org if you would like to volunteer for this event. Coachs will be asked to help with judging and setting up on the day of event and it will be communicated prior to the event with coachs on volunteer options.

Teams will be contacted at the primary team contact emergency phone number if there is any sort of weather or other issue that requires immediate attention. Please be sure to have a current cell phone number listed for the primary team contact which can be reached at any time.
Refund Policy
Refunds will be permitted until October 14th, afterwards there will be no refund.
Health and Safety Policies
Per YMCA building requirements and suggestions from the Japanese government, all attendees (students and coaches) are asked to wear a mask at all times during the event.

Osaka YMCA International School - Tosabori Campus is a 6 minute walk from the Higabashi Station, 12 minute walk from Fukushima Station, or 11 minutes from Yodoyabashi Station.
Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
