Welcome to the Messiah University High School VRC Qualifier. This robotics tournament is open to all registered high school VRC teams in eastern Pennsylvania. Please review the agenda and other event tabs for more information about this event.

Light concessions will be available and teams can pre-order from R & K subs one week prior to the event. More information will be shared closer to the event. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Many volunteers are needed to help us with the event! Please consider reaching out to the Primary Contact if you are interested in helping in this way. Some open volunteer roles include: Scorekeeper Referee, Judge, Field Reset Crew, Robot Inspector, Tournament Manager Operator, Queue Crew, Check-in Desk, Emcee, Set-up/Tear down Crew. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency or if your team is experiencing delays attending the event due too bad weather, please call or text the Primary Contact event day phone and include your school / organization name and team number(s).

If there is inclement weather, please check the General Information event tab for updates. Teams will also be notified via email at least 24 hours prior to the event if the event needs to be postponed or canceled.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available to registered teams up to 4 weeks prior to the event. Unfortunately, no refunds will be available after this time. If your team is unable to attend, please reach out to the Primary Contact as soon as possible to determine if a refund is possible. All registered teams are subject to a non-refundable $5 fee. Refunds are processed only after the Event Partner has received the funds from the REC Foundation.

In the event has to be postponed or canceled and if your team is unable to attend the rescheduled date, then a full refund will be offered (minus the $5 fee) after the Event Partner has received the funds from the REC Foundation.


Judging Format


  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
