Volunteer

Hello! This is the our first time hosting a tournament, so we would love to have experienced volunteers on our team. We especially would like to bring in judges and referees from other school districts/ organizations. 

Also, we only have one field, so we would love if three more schools/ organizations could bring additional fields. 

We will be happy to offer discounts or waive registration fees for teams who are able to bring volunteers or fields.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the weather gets bad enough that the minimum number of teams won't be able to make it then we will cancel the event. If your team has decided not to attend due to weather please contact Molly Gomes on the phone number listed for day of event immediately.

Refund and Payment Policies

In the event the tournament is cancelled by the hosting school, teams will receive a refund. Teams may pay be check, the day of the event (please let the Event Partner, Molly Gomes, know if you are doing this) or click "pay later" at registration. This is to avoid the refund process.

For teams that have already paid, they need to request a refund 48 hours before the event begins in order to recieve a refund. Please be aware that if you have paid ahead through REC they will still charge your team a Five dollar fee.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
