General Info

Welcome to the Princeton Rum River Rumble VEX VRC High School Robotics Tournament. We look forward to having you join us for another exciting day!  This tournament is this HS VEX VRC Tournament (we are also hosting a MS VEX VRC Tournament. 

Concessions:  For your convenience there will be a complete concessions stand located on site for the duration of the tournament.

Waiting List:  If this event is full, please feel free to add your team to the Waiting List and then contact the Event Partner (Primary Contact on the General Info tab). The Event Partner will let you know about possible openings for the event. If you are moved from the Waiting List to the Registered Teams List, please be prepared to pay for the event promptly at your account.

We might need to make adjustments to our event due to local and state guidelines.  You will be notified of any changes as we get closer to the event.

IMPORTANT! If your team will be late, you must call the Event Partner (Primary Contact on the General Info tab). If your team is not checked-in on time, the match schedule will be run without your team and they cannot compete. The match schedule CANNOT be run after the tournament begins.

Schedule of Events

7:30 am           Check-In Open, Pits Open and Inspections Open

8:30 am           Check-in Closes – Call the Event Partner if your team will be late!

9:15 am           Inspection Closes

9:30 am           Opening Ceremony followed by Team Meeting (in the Tiger Gym)

10:00 am         Qualification Matches Begin, Skills Field Opens

12:00 pm        30 minute Lunch Break

3:45 pm          Qualification Matches End, Skills Field Closes

4:00 pm          Alliance Selection – All Teams Present in main competition area

4:45 pm          Elimination Matches & Judge’s Awards

                        Finals Matches, Final Awards

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather this event may be cancelled.  Teams are advised to watch for weather related updates.   If the tournament must be cancelled or postponed, the name of the tournament will change to cancelled or postponed.  In the event of a cancellation or postponement, teams will be sent additional information via email.  In the event of a cancellation, the registration fee will not be refunded.

No refunds will be given for this event.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
