General Info

Welcome to the 2022 roBOOtics SPOOKtactular held in the Centennial High School Cafeteria

We will have a full VEX Tournament featuring two competition fields, a skills field, and a practice field.

There are currently 32 slots for this tournament, and a maximum of 5 teams per organization are allowed. Make sure that you are marked as paid (or PO received) two weeks in advance or you may be replaceed with a team from the waitlist.

Teams need to arrive by 8:15am so that they can be inspected before the 8:45am deadline. Teams that have not checked in by 8:30am will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run.Teams that are running late must contact the event partner prior to this cut off if they do not wish to be dropped.

Teams are encouraged to dress up for a Team costume contest (with award).

If weather causes travel delays or prevents teams from competing, a partial refund may be available.  Contact [email protected] before the beginning of the event. Please make sure your team contact information is up to date in your RobotEvents.com account in case we need to contact your team prior to the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

There will be no refunds available for teams that choose to cancel due to fixed costs for the event partner.

Health and Safety policy will match the current local guidelines and will be updated/communicated within 1 week of the event.

There will be no live webcast, but teams can watch matches published within one week of the event on our YouTube Channel

Judging Format

 

  •  In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams can bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
