Welcome to the Salisbury University VRC Winter Tournament!

This is the last qualifying event for the DelMarVa Regional Tournament.

This event is an in person event at Salisbury University that will be running skills along with having judged awards. We hope to see you!

 

A bit of information regarding the tournament:

AS PER UNIVERSITY POLICY, EVERYONE INSIDE UNIVERSITY BUILDINGS MUST WEAR A N95, KN95, OR KF94 MASK
IF MASKS ARE NEEDED WE CAN PROVIDE AS LONG AS A HEADCOUNT IS GIVEN IN ADVANCE

Both rooms are in the Guerreri Student Union in the Wicomico Room and the Nanticoke Room.
Pits will be in the Nanticoke Room and competition will run in the Wicomico Room.
There will be food downstairs as well as we are near several food options at the university.

Saturday Night:

5:00pm - Venue opens for setup (Any assistance is greatly appreciated)

Sunday:

9:00am - Teams Check in

9:15am - Inspection Opens

9:45am - Drivers Meeting

10:00am - Skills Field opens + Matches begin 

12:00-1:00pm - Lunch + Skills fields will be open

1:00pm - Matches continue

3:00pm - Alliance Selection + Finals 

3:30pm - Awards

5:00pm Venue Closes

Volunteers are always welcome. Please contact the event coordinator if you are interested in volunteering.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If an emergency or bad weather occurs, we try our best to notify teams no later than 3PM prior to the event.  

Refund and Payment Policies

We will be issuing refunds up to a week before the event is run. If any extreme circumstances arise or the event is cancelled, we will be refunding registrations.

UPDATE: Masks are no longer required in the GSU, recommended but not a requirement.

Judging Format

 

  •  In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
