Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the case of inclement weather, all team advisors will be contacted via email. While sometimes weather can be unpredictable, usually we will make a decision by 4:00pm the day before the event, if not earlier. We will also update the "EVENT INFORMATION" tab to read "CANCELED / RESCHEDULED" at the top.

Depending on the circumstances, we will make every effort to reschedule, rather than outright cancel an event, and that will be done on a case by case basis depending on the schedule and space availability.

Refund Policy

In the event of an event cancellation, team registrations will be refunded. Any other refunds due to extenuating circumstances will be handled on a case by case basis. It is expected that teams utilize the robotevents system to handle event payments prior to attending the event. No-show teams are still responsible for submitting their registration fees. 

In all cases, each registration contains a $5 robotevents processing fee that is not refundable.

Health and Safety Policies

Due to the current COVID scenario we have to follow some safety protocols

  • MASKS ARE MANDATORY AT ALL TIMES (except while eating which can be done at a table assigned to your team)
  • If anyone is sick on the day of the event, please do not attend. 
  • Social distancing to be maintained as much as possible.
  • Please bring hand sanitizer. (Though we will have hand sanitizers stationed in every room, we would like to take extra precaution and urge our guest teams to bring their own hand sanitizer as well.)
  • Please clean your tables of any scraps in an effort to maintain cleanliness.
  • We request that you maintain social distancing from other teams, especially in the cafeteria as well as the bleachers.
