General Info

WELCOME all to your January Vex SPIN-UP Tournament.  Thank you for your interest in the Brighton High VRC Tournament.  We will contact registered teams closer to the event with more details, including directions, times, food and hotel information.

Participants are also required to submit the VEX liability release from electronically.

Physical notebooks must be submitted for judging. Please print digital notebooks and put them in a binder for submission.

All apporved events and event attendees are required to follow all local, state, federal, or any other government ordinances regarding COVID-19 safety procedures, social distancing, and best hygiene practices.  Event partners should continually assess, based on current government guidelines, whether to postpone,cancel, or significantly reduce the number of attendees when necessary.

Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament.  Please consider volunteering.  No prior experience is necessary.  Volunteers will receive any training necessary.  Thank you for lending a helping hand.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather notice of cancellation will be made via email. 

Refund Policy

Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled by the event partner.  Refunds will not include the $5.00 processing fee assessed by the robot events.  Registrations will not be refunded for teams that register but choose not to come.

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
