General Info

Due to social distancing requirements, this event is limited to 16 teams.  Charles County teams will be given a priority - teams from outside the county can add themselves to the waitlist.

Thank you for registering for the 2022 Southern Maryland VEX Robotics Showdown!  This event is open to both middle and high school VEX VRC teams.  In addition to matches, teams can participate in judging and robot skills.   Team notebooks will be due one week in advance of the competion for electronic scoring.  A link to upload a copy of the engineering notebook will be sent to all registered teams.  

Doors will open at 8:30am for team check in and robot  inspection.  Teams not registered and inspected by 9:30AM will not be added to match schedule.  Mask are required at all times when not eating/drinkng.  

The event is NOT open to spectators or visitors; however, you are encouraged to view the competition via livestream.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

This event will follow Charles County Public Schools guidance for inclement weather delays or closing. For regular updates, go to the school district website at www.ccboe.com.  

Refund Policy

Refunds will be made in the event of inclement weather or community health concerns.  The Robotevents processing fee cannot be refunded.

Health and Safety Policies

This is event is not open to spectators due to current Charles County Public Schools safety policies.  All participants and spectators are required to wear a mask and are exected to socially distance.  The competition will be livestreamed for spectators.
