The competition will be live streamed starting at 12:30pm. Go to: tfsetv.ca Then go to live events, then go to All Sports, then go to Other and you will see 2022 VEX ROBOTICS MAINLAND CHAMPIONSHIP

Pacific Youth Robotics Society, Penguin Robotics, Ten Ton Robotics(West Vancouver School District) and the Langley Event Centre are pleased to be hosting the VEX Tipping Point BC Mainland Championship in 2022.

This event will be hosted at the Langley Event Center Building B located at 7888 200 St, Langley, BC V2Y 1S4 on Sunday, March 6th. Parking at the Langley Event Centre is free. We are planning for doors to open at 8AM; we are doing same day setup at 6AM so we ask that you be respectful to all volunteers setting up.

All adult spectators will require a proof of vaccination to enter the Center. We will be charging an entrance fee of $5 (excluding adult coaches, but including parents) to help cover the costs of this event. Coaches and competitors will be allowed in a 8AM. Spectators will be allowed in at 10AM.


One of the extra things that we will be offering is an opportunity for anyone who is interested to purchase our official tournament clothing prior to the event. The online webstore is now open for participants to start to pre-order their clothing. We are offering long sleeve T's and hoodies with our custom tournament logo. Below is the link to the webstore:

All pre-orders must be received by March 2nd. The orders will be delivered to team/individuals at the event on March 6th. There will not be any additional product for purchase onsite, so all orders must be placed in advance of the event.

  • Event Hoody – Black – S thru XXL - $55 includes applicable taxes
  • Event Long Sleeve T-Shirt – Dark Heather - S thru XXL - $30 includes applicable taxes


Competitor Information:

  • There will be a concession stand on site provided by the Langley Event Center.
  • We will be having 2 fields for highschool qualification matches and 1 field for middle school qualification matches starting at approximately 11AM. 
  • There will be 2 dedicated skills fields running all day.
  • Inspection will open shortly after doors open.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will be notified at their registered email address in the event of a schedule disruption, change, or cancellation.

Refund and Payment Policies

Teams that fail to provide advance notice of cancellation will be billed for the full cost of the event. If you are registered, you are expected to show up.

Judging Format

 In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
