General Info
Neilburg Composite School is delighted to host The 2022 Prairie Cup, the 2021-22 VEX Tipping Point Tournament. The event will be live remote and open to 16 High School and Middle School teams. This event will be limited to two teams per organization. Once the event is full, a waiting list will be created for teams who were unable to register. This waiting list will also be available for you to sign up additional teams, but precedence will be given to schools/organizations who are not yet registered.
**Please note we are in Neilburg, Saskatchewan, Canada and are based on MST-Mountain Standard Time!** Adjust accordingly to where you are located!
Team Payment: The cost to attend this event is $50CAD. Teams must be paid seven days prior to the event. Teams not paid at this time may be dropped at the event partner's discretion to allow teams in from the wait list. Payment is accepted by Interac e-Transfer (preferred for Canadian teams) or by PayPal.
Safety is a primary concern in VEX robotics and this event will meet or exceed all COVID safety protocols. Requirements for attending this event are:
Note: Since teams from the same organization may compete against each other during the tournament, each program with more than one team registered will require two fields. If this is not possible, we can try to arrange the match schedule so that teams from one organization do not meet in qualification matches, however, this may be impossible in elimination matches.
- Unfotunately, Robot Skills and remote or on-site judging will not be offered.
- Each team shall provide a Team Facilitator who organizers will contact if there are any issues..
- Each team shall provide their own volunteers sufficient for field reset and other tasks.
- All teams (students and mentors) will need to adhere to the local COVID protocols for their location.
- The event will be live-streamed.
- A lunch break will be provided. The anticipated lunch break is 30 minutes. If you have any questions, please feel free to email the Event Partner, Jeff Walso, at [email protected]
