Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If weather causes travel delays or prevents teams from competing, a partial refund may be available.  Contact [email protected] before the beginning of the event.

The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

There will be no refunds due to fixed costs associated with this event.

Health and Safety Policies

All attendees must have been fully vacinated for covid-19 or have a negative test with-in 3 days of the event.  The teams mentors will be required to certify their team meets the covid rules

All attendees will be required to wear masks that cover the mouth and nose during the event. Attendees will be encouraged to social distance as possible and wash hands/use hand sanitizer. Pit areas may be moved outdoors depending on weather/space available. Their will be NO Spectators, we will be plannng to livestream the event as possible.

Judging Format

Electronic Engineering Notebook Submissions Only: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted electronically for evaluation, with a submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
