Hi everyone, this will be the first live event that has been attempted between schools in over 18 months.  It has not been easy to make sure that everything was as ready as possible. I am sure we will still have to adapt a few things, and hope you understand we are doing our best.  Ten Ton Robotics will host this event but the event would not be running without the hard work and commitment from PYRS ( Pacific Youth Robotic Society).  Please bear with us as we try to get things up and working again.  Additionally consider running your own event later in the year, PYRS are experts in helping you do this.  We look forward to having you at a safe, competitive event. And note NO SPECTATORS for this event. (Only student participants, teachers, PYRS organizers, and volunteers are allowed at the event.)

This tournament is for VRC HS teams only.  (We will be adding a special event just for MS 8 days later)  We could not get permission for both gyms on the same day.

There will be expectations and safety requirements to comply with any safe practices for the school, the district and the province, such as:

     (a) wearing of masks indoors at all times

     (b) physical distancing

     (c) hand sanitizing (sanitizing stations will be available, but if you can bring your own sanitizer, that's fine too)

     (d) teams are limited to 4 people including the adult coach (we have a limited number of extra spots based on room capacity for teams that request for an extra person early). No spectators for this event.

     (e) we may require basic contact information (will collect at the event, we will keep you posted)

Please contact Todd Ablett ([email protected]) and Mahesh Chugani ([email protected]) if you have any questions or suggestions.

Spectators are not allowed into this event.

Please see the AGENDA tab for the schedule. Please check the Agenda tab up to, and especially the day before the event.
