The Salem Saturday VRC January Tournament is hosted by West Salem Robotics club and it is an Oregon Region only event. The event is being held in the commons area of West Salem High School. Please enter from the Doaks Ferry Road side of campus.
After passing inspection teams will participate in Qualifying Rounds, Alliance Selection and Elimination Rounds. There will also be a field open for Skills Challenge runs. Teams will be limited to three Driving and three Programming Skills Challenge runs.
As an early tournament please do not be intimidated if your robot is still 'in development'. Many veteran teams will be at the event and they are great resources to help your team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If bad weather is to occur, use your own descretion on attending the event. If the event is cancelled and we are not able to reschedule the event we will refund your tournament fee.

Health and Safety Policies
For this event we will be implementing all of the safety protocols emplyed in the Salem-Keizer School district.
Currently that means:
All participants, coaches, visitors, ... must wear a mask at all times while indoors.
Keep 3' spacing
Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Engineering notebooks will submitted at the event during check-in. We will only be accepting hard copies of the notebooks.
