Anderson I & II Career & Technology Center is excited to be hosting a high and middle school blended tournament in person at Palmetto Middle School.
The ACTC Upstate Robotics Competition will be a qualifying event for SC State competition. If teams wish to be judged and in the running for Design and Excellence awards, a digital copy of their team notebook should be sent as a link to the Event Partner, Travis Guthrie at email@example.com, by January 14th, 2021. This will allow the judges more time to review the notebooks and to prepare for interviews that will take place on the day of the event.
When teams arrive at Palmetto Middle School, they will enter through the back side of the school, at the gym (on Hamilton Street right across from the high school), not the front of the school. Only registered team members and one coach will be allowed in the pit area of the gym. Workspace area around the perimeter of the gym will serve as our pit area. All other people associated with the teams including parents, siblings, and other spectators must remain in the stands or hallway.
As of right now we plan to offer lunch, and snacks throughout the day.
11:30 AM: Inspection Opens
12:15 PM: Opening Ceremony
12:30 PM: Qualifying Matches will Begin
4:00 PM: Alliance Selection Begins
