The competition is in gym 3 at the right of the Commons (where team pit areas are located). Concessions available.
Please be prepared to have your robot pre-inspected during the open pit time.
**Attention Event Partners: This year, I am going to do a buy one and get four for free" in reverse. Instead, your first 4 teams are FREE then I will ask you to pay for your 5th team. Then, the next 4 teams are free before you have to pay for the 10th one. This is our reboot year so I will only have 2 teams this fall and 4 teams in the 2nd half of the season...it means that concessions will be thin so we can't swing too much.
VRC Qualifying Tournament
This VRC event is a qualifying event to the Oregon VRC State Championships (Platinum Division) and is open to all registered VRC teams.
If 10+ teams from each grade level (MS & HS) register for the event, then a 2nd Excellence Award will be added. These spots will be reviewed one week prior to the event. If less than 30 teams are registered, then the spot allocation may be reduced.
The event must meet the VRC Qualifying Criteria for the results to upload to RobotEvents, which can be viewed in the Uploaded Documents event tab. The state qualification spots are determined by the capacity of the State Championship, the number of events in the state, and the size of the event. If there is an out-of-state/region/province/nation team, or a team that double qualifies from the event (not from previous events or other methods), that spot will go to the next highest unqualified team on the Robot Skills ranking at that event. There is no look-back to previous events to see if a team has previously qualified. These spots will be filled by the Event Engagement Manager after the event has been uploaded and the results have been verified. If you have questions about the State Championship qualification process, please contact your Event Engagement Manager, Richard Craig, email@example.com
All time are estimates and subject to adjustment up or back to keep tournament moving smoothly so be early and be patient! :)

Student parking and Bus drop off is from Grim Rd (not the front of the school on Boones Ferry Rd.) so that is in front of the main commons, which takes us to the smaller gym on the right as you walk in.
