General Info

UPDATE:  If you are interested in coming in on Friday to help with setup and run some or all of your skills, please email me and let me know. This is the last tournament of the season and we want everyone to be able to run their skills but there is a hard rule that says once alliance selection starts, we cannot run skills any more.

Purdue Polytechnic High School and the Marion County 4-H STEM Club invites you to compete in this VRC Tipping Point state championship qualifying event.  It will be held on the 3rd floor of the Mallory Building which is now the home of Purdue Polytechnic High School Englwood Campus. There will be pizza order forms for lunch, and a concession stand.

Early Bird Registration will be used this year.

Note: The first two events selected will count toward Early Bird and cannot be changed once used.

State spots will most likely be added to this event toward the end of October, first of November.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

UPDATED AGENDA:

As usual, the agenda is more of a guideline than something set in stone. Often we get off to a slow start (hope that is not the case this time) but we usually end on time. I am hoping we can get ahead of schedule and end early.  We do plan to take a break for lunch but skills will remain open. Please consider taking advantage of our optional Friday time in order to reduce the lines at the skills field(s).

For teams that would like to get skills runs in on Friday, come help us set up and we will inspect your robot Friday and let you run skills. We will be finishing a league but will have plenty of fields to do skills even while the league is running.  Please send me an email letting me know what teams you have that would like to participate in this. My email address is [email protected]
