General Info

We are looking forward to a fast-paced, exciting in-person event. We are hosting a VEXU tournament at the same time as this tournament!

This event will take place on Clemson University's campus. Teams will be required to follow all University policies while on-campus. Be sure to acquire a parking pass before attending the event! The most economical option is to purchase a weekend parking pass for $8 - we apologize for the inconvenience!

Please note: this event will feature the new GPS code on the skills field, but not the competition fields. If you are making use of the GPS sensor and need them on the competition fields, feel free to reach out to bmmcgui@clemson.edu.

Please note: The cortex control system is no longer legal for this season. The only legal microcontroller is the new V5 system.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event is cancelled this will be communicated to the team's primary contact and displayed here. Teams will be informed if the Health & Safety policies need to be implemented

Refund Policy

If the event is canceled, each paid team will be issued a full refund, less the $5 RECF fee. Teams are responsible for their own transportation and hotel costs.

The deadline for team payment is January 8th, 2022. Teams who have not paid by that deadline may be moved to the waitlist by the Event Partner to accommodate other teams.

Health and Safety Policies

We will follow University recommendations for hosting a safe event. Teams will be asked to comply with these. Check back here regularly for updates about Health & Safety Policies

Currently In-Place:

1. The University has instituted a mask mandate for all buildings on campus. All event participants will be required to wear a mask while at the event.

2. There are no current limits on team or spectator attendance. Event participants who do not feel well should not attend; we are live streaming the event.

Cancellations

If the event is canceled for Health & Safety considerations, notice will be given as far in advance as possible. Two weeks before the event date, we will re-evaluate our policies, and determine if cancellation is required.
