Welcome to the Washington Middle School VRC State Championship! This event is open to Washington VRC Middle School teams that have qualified at REC Foundation VRC events.
There are two options for participating in the Washington VRC Championship. Each team can select one option.
All teams will are invited to submit Engineering Design Notebooks and will be interviewed regardless of format.
This event will qualify Washington Middle School VRC teams to the VEX Robotics World Remote Championship. The following awards will earn VEX Robotics World Championship spots:
If a team double qualifies for the VEX Robotics World Championships, then the Regional Support Manager will use the process outlined in the VRC Championship Qualifying Criteria to invite additional teams. World Championship invitations from the World Skills Standings are issued by email after the results of the State Championship have been posted at RobotEvents.com, and will not be announced at the State Championship.
World Championship qualifying awards and invitations are issued to teams whether or not the teams have expressed an intention to attend the event. Unaccepted World Championship invitations are not offered or transferred to other teams.
Concessions will be on-site and we will be sending out individual Meal plans ahead of time to sign up for.

Due to Covid we will be supplying all volunteers at this time.
In case of inclement weather check the general information section. The State Championship is difficult to reschedule, so teams should check the weather conditions and plan accordingly.
This event will be run under the Phase 2 Guidlines that are currently active in Washington. The section we fall under is a follows.
Outdoor sports and fitness establishments (Outdoor fitness organizations, outdoor recreational sports, outdoor pools, outdoor parks and hiking trails, outdoor campsites, outdoor K-12 sports, outdoor sports, outdoor personal training, outdoor dance, outdoor motorsports)
Low, moderate, and high-risk sports competitions allowed (no tournaments), maximum 200 including spectators.
