Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

12:00 Lunch: NO FOOD WILL BE SERVED AT THIS EVENT. At this time no one is permitted to remove their masks inside of the main arena, so you will be asked to rotate eating in the lobby, or to eat outside (weather-permitting).

Volunteer

We will need volunteers for all aspects of the competition, and are specifically asking if any teams can lend a coach or parent to help as a score keeping referee (or head referee, if they understand that role). Please contact the head coach if you are able to help us in that regard. A full volunteer signup will be released the week before the competition.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of a weather-related cancellation (or any other type of emergency), teams will be contacted as early as possible and event registration fees will be returned minus the $5 RECF processing fee.

Refund and Payment Policies

Registered teams, which choose to cancel, must do so no later than seven days prior to the event to receive a full refund minus the $5 RECF Registration fee. Teams that withdrawal with fewer than seven days will be responsible to pay the full registration fee.
