Important Registration Information

If you'd like to attend, please register for the Waiting List  -->  All new registrations are being directed to the Waiting List

This event is configured as an 'Invitational' to give priority to Colorado VRC teams who have not yet competed in a live, in-person, Change Up tournament.  If you would like to attend, please register for the Waiting List.  The Event Host will give priority to those teams who have not yet competed in person, who have only competed in one event, or in very few events, in that order.  Then the event will be filled with other waitlisted teams on a first-come-first-served basis.  You will be notfied by email when your team is put into the event.  Questions?  Call the event host at the contact information listed above.    We look forward to you joining the fun!

We will take everyone's temperature as they come in, and reserve the right to turn away an entire team if one in the party has an elevated temperature.  We advise teams to self-check for COVID-19 symptoms before driving to the tournament to avoid a problem at check in.

The health screening questionnaire on the Health and Safety tab will be required of every team member and coach when they arrive at the event.  LINK - Health and Safety Policies Signature Document

Wearing masks/facial coverings and maintaining social distancing will be enforced. 

In order to keep numbers down, spectators will not be allowed.  Organizations are requested to limit the number of on-site participants to essential student team members, and up to two coaches, up to 4 persons only.  A communication will be sent out to registered teams prior to the event to obtain a total attendance headcount.  No additional headcount will be allowed in on the day of the event that exceeds this total.

This being the 2nd Live In-person Event of the season and with covid guidelines in place we will move as efficiently as we can.  We expect to move faster than this schedule so please be flexible.  We are dedicated to having a Fun Time Together and following covid guidelines so that all are 100% Safe.

Health and Safety Policies

Please do not bring your team to this event if any member of your party is sick.  We reserve the right to turn your group away if any member of the group exhibits COVID-19 symptoms, or if the Health Questionnaire (below) indicates that they are at risk for having been exposed to COVID-19.

All local school district regulations regarding COVID-19 protocols will be followed. At this time*, this will include the following:

  • Masks or cloth face coverings that cover the nose and mouth must be worn at all times while inside the building by all participants, coaches, volunteers, and other persons over 2 years of age.
  • Participants should maintain physical distance of 6' wherever possible. Markings will be provided in seating areas and in high-congestion areas.
  • Sanitation stations will be placed throughout the venue. Attendees are encouraged to make frequent use of these.
  • Total attendance will be limited.  Spectators will not be allowed, and team will be limited to essential student members and up to two coaches, only.
  • Any person or team who has been exposed within the 14 days prior to the event to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 is asked to stay home.
  • Only essential team members and up to two coaches will be allowed in the field or pit areas.
  • Team tables will not be shared and will be spaced a minimum of 8' apart
  • Only members of the field reset team will be allowed to handle the field and field elements, except for specially marked pre-loads/match loads, which will be disinfected between matches.
  • There will be no queuing tables. This means that teams must take extra care to keep track of when their matches are and arrive a the field on time. Once a match is completed and the score finalized, participants will be expected to return to the pit area.
  • No practice field will be available.
  • Teams may choose to submit a digital Engineering Notebook if preferred. Physical Engineering Notebooks must be placed in a sealed plastic bag for at least 24 hours prior to the event and submitted in the bag.
  • Participants are encouraged to stay with their own teams. There should be no hand shakes, high fives, or other unnecessary touching.
  • There will be no concessions offered at this tournament.
