General Info
Congratulations on earning a spot at the 2021 VEX Robotics CA State Championship Event.
***You may register at any site that has space available for the state championship event you qualified for - please read the entire event posting before registering.***
This State Championship will be conducted as a Remote Skills Only event with Remote Judging. Each team that registers must have their own field and game elements to participate. Please see the Remote Judging Requirements tab for details on the remote judging process.
Choose wisely if this is the event you are selecting. Once you register you will NOT be able to move to a different city or event. You will NOT be refunded your fee and teams will be moved to the wait list if they have not completed the payment within two weeks of registering. It is your responsibility to make sure that the payments have been processed in time. We will use the visible record of payment on robotevents.com to make the determination.
If this event fills, the Event Partner may create another event to accommodate additional teams. This will be done at the discretion of the Event Partner and the REC Foundation and is not guaranteed.

Tuesday, March 9 - Thursday, March 11, 2021 (remote)
3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Remote Judging Interviews (schedule will be determined by Event Partner - teams and coaches must be available during these times for remote judging)
Friday, March 12 and Saturday March 13th, 2021 (remote)
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Remote Team check in and robot inspection. Friday, priorty will be given to middle school teams but we will fit in high school teams if time allows.
Sunday, March 14, 2021 (remote)
Each team may take up to 3 runs in driver challenge and up to 3 runs in autonomous challenge for the event. Event Partner will determine the schedule and time assignments for teams. Teams and coaches must be available during this time window to participate.

Event Partners will also make every effort to reach teams directly in case of an emergency. Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Remote Judging Requirements
*Only Digital Engineering Notebooks will be submitted for this tournament!*
Deadline for Notebook Submission: Friday, March 5th, 2021 by 5:00pm PST.
Each teams' Primary Contact/Coach MUST complete the Google Form to submit their Digital Engineering Notebooks.

Digital Engineering Notebooks will be judged during the week of before the event.
Scheduling Remote Judging Interviews: Teams will be contacted via email by 5:00 pm Monday, March 8th to select a Remote Judging Interview Time (the scheduling email will only be sent to Primary Contact listed for team in RobotEvents.com). Interviews will take place after regular school hours from March 9-11, 2021. Judging times will be from 3pm-7pm PST. ***Teams must be available during these times for remote judging interviews; interviews will not be conducted during the Live Remote Skills event.***
