This is an invitation-only event intended for teams from the San Joaquin County area, and teams that have played in a San Joaquin Delta League. If you would like to participate, add your team to the Waiting List. Invited teams will be added to the event by the Event Partner. Once added to the event, teams must pay in a timely manner.
Due to the pandemic, we will follow these special rules and procedures to minimize the risk for everyone involved.
Everyone participating in the event must wear a face mask. Please bring your own face mask. As usual, each team member must also wear safety goggles while at the field. Social distancing rules will be strictly followed.
Each team may bring no more than 4 students and 1 adult to the event. No spectators or parents are allowed in the Fab Lab. Teams must be accompanied by the team Advisor or a designated adult.
Everyone attending the event must complete a self-screen form and turn it in the day of the event prior to arrival.
Teams will be assigned a time slot between 8 am and 4 pm. Only one team will be on site at a time. During their time slot, the team will check in, pass inspection, and play up to 3 Driver Skills and 3 Programming Skills matches.
Teams must arrive on time and bring their robot ready to inspect upon arrival to allow enough time for their skills matches within their time slot. Teams who cannot start on time due to late arrival or inspection delays will forfeit any matches not completed within their time slot.
Team members will reset the field between their matches.
An online form will be available to coaches a week before the event to sign up for time slots - first come, first served.
Results will be posted on our Robot Events page. Winning teams can pick up their awards from the Fab Lab on the next business day.
