This league will be a blended event, meaning that both HS and MS VRC teams are welcome. There will be both HS and MS Excellence Awards, as well as Champions, Judges Awards, and Skills award. This event will have some spots to the State Tournament in March, and those will be awarded by the regional manager once all the numbers are in. To allow adequate distancing teams areas will be in different classrooms. It is not required for all teams to attend all dates.
This event is for Kansas teams only. We will have one competiton field. There are several COVID related requirements that all participant will be following. Here they are:
No spectators will be allowed
Maximum of 3 students per team and 1 coach for each program will be allowed inside
Masks will be worn by everybody for the duration of the event, no exceptions
No concession stand will be provided
Do not pay for the event until after the event in case it get cancelled
No charging stations will be provided
Any changes to these requirements will be shared with registered teams as soon as possible

In the event of bad weather, events will either be cancelled or rescheduled. Coaches will be emailed in advance.
Do Not Pay until after the competiton. Refunds are a nightmare!
We will be taking COVID-19 very seriously and will be implementing many protocols to keep our kids safe.
Modified drive teams
Two per team at the field.
Driver zones moved to opposite corners
Sanitation protocols for driver preloads: will be sanitized between each match.
Only designated field resetters will touch field elements.
One way traffic patterns to and from the field.
Skills will be by appointment--need to sign up for a slot to eliminate a line.
No practice field use.
Hand sanitizer at each side of field
Robots/teams will queue at separate tables.
There will be 6 foot markers placed in areas where teams will be lining up.
There will be clearly marked paths of travel so teams are not coming into close contact with each other.
Teams will not be allowed to enter the field to retrieve their robot. Once their match has been scored, they will drive their robot to the side of the field to retrieve it. The only people allowed access to the field and game objects are officially marked staff.
Pit areas will be grouped by organization and spread out from other attending organizations.
Either have their own classroom with an exterior door

Pre-recorded initial meeting with instructions.
Matches live streamed to pits to reduce spectators at the field.
Teams will have pre-recorded or zoom interviews with judges to reduce contact.
We will be in N-11 on the north side of the building. Please park in the North Lot. I will have the doors unlocked and Temperature stations. All attendees need to have their temperature checked and wear face masks.
