Welcome to the 9th annual Central Valley VEX Robotics League sponsored by Modesto Robotics and Technology Inc. Participants have a chance to qualify for the California State Championship while developing extensive competition experience through our league format. Your one-time registration fee allows you to participate in up to Six separate events.

Here’s is how it works:

Qualifiers (Ranking Sessions) – Teams must compete in at least 60% of the following qualifying events.  Each qualifying event will include 8 qualifying matches per team. All teams are encouraged to participate in all four dates if possible.  To be included in the cumulative Qualification Rankings, a Ranking Session must include the participation of at least 50% of the League’s registered teams (24).

  • Scrimmage    10/8/2019 This evening is so that teams can meet each other and help work on each other tune robots, Pizza will be provided by MRT
  • Qualifier 1 - 10/29/2019
  • Qualifier 2 - 11/19/2019
  • Qualifier 3- 12/10/2019
  • Finals-     4      1/14/2019 See below we can vote on the first night as to if you want to end on 12/10 or do final in Jan so studnets have one more opportunity to improve robots before finals.

  • *Qualifier and League Championships sevral coaches requested to be done before winter break so this is the only way to do so therefore this evening either needs to start a little earlier or we need to allow for finals a bit later that evening, therefore this is tenative.
