General Info
Welcome to the Washington High School VRC State Championship! This event is open to Washington VRC High School teams that have qualified at REC Foundation VRC events. This event will be held in conjunction with the VRC Middle School State Championship.
VEX World Championship Qualification Spots
This event will qualify Washington High School VRC teams to the VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, KY. The following awards will earn VEX Robotics World Championship spots:
- (1) Excellence Award
- (2) Tournament Champions
- (1) Design Award
- (2) Tournament Finalists
- (4) Semi Finalist
- (1) Robot Skills Champion
- (1) Amaze
If a team double qualifies for the VEX Robotics World Championships, then the Regional Support Manager will use the process outlined in the VRC Championship Qualifying Criteria to invite additional teams. World Championship invitations from the World Skills Standings are issued by email after the results of the State Championship have been posted at RobotEvents.com, and will not be announced at the State Championship.
World Championship qualifying awards and invitations are issued to teams whether or not the teams have expressed an intention to attend the event. Unaccepted World Championship invitations are not offered or transferred to other teams.
