Welcome to the 2nd Annual Supernova Spectacular!

The Science Academy STEM Magnet and Supernova Robotics are delighted to host an early season VEX Tower Takeover event and give teams a chance to take home some custom hardware and qualify for the VEX California State Championships.   The event will be open to a total of 30 MIDDLE SCHOOL ONLY TEAMS and only 3 teams from each school.   If this event is full please place yourself on the wait list.

Last year, Battlebots host Chris Rose served as our opening MC and he is scheduled to launch the event again this year.  There will be two (2) raised Competition Fields, one (1) Skills Challenge field, and two (2) full Practice Fields at the event.  Both Driving and Programming Skills Challenges will be open during lunch to ensure all teams have an opportunity to compete.

On-site parking is free.

Registration will be at 7:30 am, sharp.  Teams that have not checked in 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the qualifying matches will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run. Teams running late must contact the event partner prior to this cut off if they do not wish to be dropped.

Teams must be paid two weeks prior to the event. Teams not paid at this time may be dropped at the event partner's discretion to allow teams in from the wait list.
