Thank you for your interest in volunteering and/or helping us recruit volunteers. Please contact both Chris Putnam and Mike Doddo at
email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to volunteer or can assist us with recruiting volunteers.
We will be in need of many Judges, Computer Operators and General Assistants. We will have training available on-site for these positions. All volunteers will receive meals, snacks and a free shirt.
We actually are set for volunteers this year!
However, we are seeking judges for our state IQ event and our High School event.
Go to this page for more information http://mdvex.weebly.com/volunteers.html
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather we will attempt to modify the event to fit within this weekend. In the event of a complete cancellation details will be emailed to teams on how to proceed.
We must go by Baltimore County Public School weather policy. If the event is cancelled due to weather, we will partially refund teams.
There is a possibility of a snow date. The snow date is March 14th.
Refunds will be issued up to February 15, 2020. Any teams cancelling beyond this date or not showing for the event will not receive a refund. If the event is cancelled we will issue refunds to teams who cannot attend the alternate date.
There is a possible date and location to reschedule the competition.
If the event is cancelled due to weather, we will refund teams minus the $5 fee that RECF charges us. However, the event does have a weather date of March 14, 2020.
Go to the Maryland Robotics youtube channel.
Get all the scores from the 'results' tab or use the VexVia app.
There is limited parking in the front of the building. Entrance and exit are one way. There is more parking behind the building. Rear of building is accessible only from the front entrance road.
If the ground is dry, a gate at the main entrance will be open to offer additional parking by the tennis courts.
Do not park on the road. All road parking is illegal and tickets will be written by local police.
