General Info

This league is officially for High School level, Gwinnett County Vex teams only.  However, our middle school teams and guests are welcome to attend to watch, practice, learn, and scrimmage. There will be 4 afternoon meets, all on Wednesdays, and one championship competition.

  1. October 23rd at Paul Duke STEM School.
  2. November 13th at Berkmar High School.
  3. December 4th at Parkview High School.
  4. January 15th at Berkmar High School. (Location subject to change.)

Championship will be Saturday, January 25th at Berkmar High School.  This will be akin to a standard competition format.

Notes:

  • Teams can afford to miss up to two events and still be eligible for the alliance selection process.
  • Skills will only be run at the final two events.
  • Scrimmages and guests will be encouraged, and there will be two full fields at each meet for practice and scrimmaging.
  • Practice Judges will provide feedback during the qualifying meets, and there will be no trophies or official judging until the championship.
  • No lunch breaks during the short evening sessions.  Bring food.

We are looking for volunteers, and will have a volunteer form available soon.  However, any volunteers who just show up at meets will recieve training and contribute to our teams getting home sooner, and having things run smoother.  If any volunteers are interested in becoming certified as referees, we are looking for assistant referees to help out our head ref, and to officiate scrimmages.  https://certifications.vex.com/training/vex-edr/vrc-tower-takeover-referee-certification-course
