Welcome! VARA is hosting a scrimmage that features the VEX EDR metal robots built by high school and middle school students. This scrimmage will take place on March 16th, after state tournaments have ended in SD, NE, IA and MN, but just 3 weeks before the VEX US Open. We are planning to have top teams from the surrounding states come to Vermillion to scrimmage against each other in a mock tournament in preparation for the US Open. This will give teams a chance to test their final design changes. We plan to give them a very competitive environment to make that happen.
This is a scrimmage, not a qualifying tournament. We will provide as many alliance matches as the time allows and plan to have awards for the Tournament Champions and Tournament Finalists.
We look forward to seeing you!
