Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In case of an incident or circumstance effecting this event, PYRS will undertake three notification strategies.
- An advisory describing the situation (e.g. inclement weather) and the action being taken (e.g. event cancellation) will be posted to this RobotEvents event listing under this tab.
- The same information will also be e-mailed to all registered team coaches.
- An incident notification will also be sent to all twitter accounts following the PYRSReporter
Refund and Payment Policies
Event cancellation
Should the event be cancelled, any pre-paid registration fees will be refunded to all teams in full
Team cancellation
Registered teams needing to cancel before registration closes will receive a full refund and will not be charged.
Registered teams that cancel or don't show up will be charged the full amount for the tournament unless a team is able to take their place.
If you are unsure of being able to show up move your team to the waitlist category and we will fill from that list in order of registration.
NOTE: not only are tournaments managers planning on your team showing up but if you register and the event fills up and then at the last minute you cancel or just don't show, your team took the spot and another team could not go.
We really encourage teams to use the waitlist button if you are unsure of attendance.
