General Info
The Mahoning Valley VEX League is set up to foster growth and teamwork in robotics in the Mahoning Valley and is open to all area high schools and middle schools. All events will be held after school at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. The first event will be a scrimmage and will not count towards the league final results. The remaining evening events will count towards the league final. The last event will be held during the school day and will include the elimination rounds as well as an awards ceremony. You must participate in at least 3 of the 4 of the qualifying matches to be eligible for the league finals.
There is not cost to participate in this event. Coaches are responsible for feeding their teams the evenings of the qualifying rounds and scrimmages. Teams will be billed a minimum amount per person for the league awards ceremony dinner.
The winners of the league will hold onto the coveted Mahoning Valley VEX Trophies until the league final the following year.
Tentative League Dates are:
November 6th - Scrimmage
December 6th - Qualifying Round 1 (4:30- 8:00)
January 11th - Qualifying Round 2 (4:30- 8:00)
January 25 - Qualifying Round 3 (4:30- 8:00)
February 6 - Qualifying Round 4 (4:30- 8:00)
February 13th - Elemination Rounds and Awards Ceremony (9:00am to 1:00pm)

Teams may practice or compete in Skills once they are inspected.
Matches will run from 4:30 until approximately 8:00.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
I will e-mail a notice of cancellation in the event of poor weather. Anytime schools are closed the event is canceled for that day.
