General Info

The Triangle Robotics League (TRL) includes

  • 3 Workshops,
  • 3 Ranking Sessions, and the
  • TRL Championship.

Attendance:

Each team is required to attend at least 1 workshop. Registered teams must RSVP Yes or No for each ranking session at least 24 hours in advance. 

Workshop Presentations:

Each school/program is invited to conduct at least one 5-10 minute presentation at one of the workshops. The presentations are intended to promote familiarity, collegiality and mentorship among the different teams the make up the TRL.  Please submit your presentation topic to the Event Partner ASAP.  Please note if anything (projector, sound, field etc) is required for the presentation. Presentation topics are up to the students/coaches.  A few examples may include:

  • "How-to" clinics on gear ratios, sensors, CAD, autonomous strategies etc
  • Slide or video presentation on a team or community outreach activity
  • Robot "reveal" videos or demonstrations
  • Or something completely different!

Teams are encouraged to submit a copy or link to their presentation along with their engineering notebook at the TRL Championship.
