General Info

Parking:

Ample parking is available outside either end of the main gym.  Bus parking is in the main lot nearest the football stadium (please park buses along the back row of the parking lot).  Please plan to park in the large main parking lot near the football field.  Please leave the bus loop open for unloading and loading of buses/trucks.  Parking is not allowed along curbs as they are fire lanes.

Concessions:

Concessions will be available on site and will directly benefit Jay County Robotics and our VRC/VEX IQ initiatives.  The stand will offer typical basketball game food, drinks and candies.

Matches:

Teams will get 7 qualification matches and unlimited skills attempts.  We will be running a slower cycle time with two competiion fields to allow teams time to make adjustments in the pits and to get skills runs in.  Please be courteous to others with unlimited skills attempts.  Skills will close at 1:30.  Qualifications should conlcude around 1:45 and elimination selection will occur immediately following the conclusion of qualifications.  Eliminations will be queued up immediately following alliance selection with QF-1 taking place 15 minutes later.  We will continue through the eliminations in a timely manor.

Electrical/Pit:

Please bring power strips and extension cords to better suit all teams having easily accessible power.  We are doing all we can to have a hook up per team but it is always better to be over prepared.  Teams will be sharing a round lunch table per 2 teams.  We will do the best we can to accommodate teams from the same school being located together.

Check In:

Please immediately check in with pit admin when you arrive.  They will be located at the door that leads your teams to the field.  Once all teams are checked in, we will run the match list.

Restrooms:

Restrooms are located one each side of the pit area.

Carry in food:

Please restrain from carrying food in.  We pride ourselves on having reasonably priced concession selections that directly benefit our statewide iniaitives to spread competitive robotics to all areas of the state.  This is one of the main ways that we fundraise money to complete all of our philanthropic outreach activities.  However, we will not kick anyone out for violating this, we are just kindly asking for cooperation on this.

Please remember, we are here for the kids.  The focus of all of our events is to put on the best competition possible for the students.  Please make sure that all competititors, spectators and coaches show appropriate behavior during the event.  We appreciate everyone's attendance at this event.
