Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Thursday January 17th Registration & Inspection 1
Doors open at 6pm.
Registration 6pm - 8pm.
Inspection option 1 will run from 6pm - 8pm.

Friday January 19th Inspection 2
Doors open at 7.30am.
Registration 7.30am - 10.30am.
Inspection option 2 will run from 8am - 10.30am.

Drivers meeting will take place at 10.30am.

Team procession at 11.10am

Opening Ceremony at 11.40am

Competition starts at Noon.

Friday January 18th Qualification A

First qualification matches will run from Noon until 4pm.

Two Skills fields will be open from noon until 4pm.

Saturday January 19th Qualification B

Second round of qualification matches will start at 8am and finish at noon.

Two Skills fields will be open from 8am until noon.

All teams will experience a total of 8 matches from the qualification sections.

Saturday January 19th Alliance Selection

Alliance selection will commence at 12.30pm.

Saturday January 19th Elimination & Finals

Elimination rounds should start at 1.15.

Finals should start at 2.45pm.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will be notified 24 hours prior to the event if there is a weather concern for the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled however a $5 processing fee will be withheld from any refunds.

Note: If the event cannot take place on the scheduled dates, the event will move to the next day. To clarify, If Friday was postponed due to weather, then we would start the event on Satruday.
