General Info

VEX Rocket Rumble @ Shelby County HS event is open to Middle and High School VEX Robotics teams. The event is a State Qualifying event. 

NO OUTSIDE Food or Drink allowed into the venue. Concessions and organized pizza lunch orders will be available.

We are looking forward to your attendence and having a great tournament. For more information, please contact Jared Cordray. IF EVENT FILLS, please email jared.cordray@shelby.kyschools.us.  There should be spots for more teams if necessary.

This event will take advantage of VEX VIA. Please have students, coaches and fans download VEX VIA (iOS or Android) prior to the event.

Those visiting the tournament, can also visit the Outlet Shoppes of Bluegrass in Simpsonville (15 minute drive) during and after the tournament for Christmas shopping.

Volunteer

Experience Level: No Previous experience is needed for most Volunteer Positions.

Time Commitment: You can register for an entire day, or just a portion of the day as your schedule permits for most positions.

Meals: Lunch and hospitality room provided for all volunteers.

Volunteer Positions Needed: 

  • Judges for Design Award (All Day Commitment, no previous experience required 8:00 am to 2:00 pm)(Most needed)
  • Field Administrators (Adults)
  • Referees (Adults)
  • Set up crew (night before)
  • Clean up crew (after event ends)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If weather is bad, event will be cancel and try to be rescheduled.

Refund Policy

If you cancel within 48 hours we will refund your money minus the $5 team fee.
