If a team double-qualifies for a World Championship spot, the state’s next highest ranking team from the World Skills Standings up to and including the State Championship receives the invitation. World Championship invitations from the World Skills Standings are issued by email after the results of the State Championship have been posted at robotevents.com, and will not be announced at the State Championship.
World Championship qualifying awards and invitations are issued to teams whether or not the teams have expressed an intention to attend the event. Unaccepted World Championship invitations are not offered or transferred to other teams.
NOTE on STATE CHAMPIONSHIP SITE SELECTION: Choose wisely if this is the event you are selecting... Once you register you will NOT be able to move to a different city. You will NOT be refunded your fee and teams will be moved to the wait list if they have not completed the payment by February 15, 2018. It is your responsibility to make sure that the payments have been processed in time. We will use the visible record of payment on robotevents.com to make the determination.

Friday, March 9, 2018
5:00 PM Teams check in, set up pit area, robot inspection. Robots that have passed inspection may take some of their skills run to save time on Saturday. Each team may take up to 3 runs in driver challenge and up to 3 runs in autonomous challenge for the event.
6:30 Venue closes. Robots that have passed inspection need to remain on site. Those that do not remain will need to be reinspected on Saturday morning.
