General Info

Coaches and Team-members,

We are excited to have you come to the Second annual Halloween tournament at Cavelero Mid High, it should be a great event with 24 teams participating!  Please review the following information to see what to expect the day of the tournament.

Team Arrival Time:     3:30 P.M.

Location:  Cavelero Mid High - 8220 24th St SE,  Lake Stevens, WA 98258

Expected finish time:    9:30 P.M.

Food:  We will have Pizza orders and concessions on site.

Pits:  Each team will have a table for their robot and a designated charging station for your club.

Practice Field:  There will be one shared practice field.

Qualification Matches:  We will do our best to run 8 qualification matches from 4:00-7:00

Costumes:  Costumes highly encouraged if not required.  Award for team with the best costume for all members.  We're thinking each team have their own theme.  Please make costumes school appropriate.

VRC Qualifying Tournament

This VRC event is a qualifying event to the Washington VRC State Championships and is open to all registered VRC teams.  The following awards will qualify to the Washington State Championship:

(1) - Excellence

(3) - Tournament Champions

The event must meet the VRC Qualifying Criteria for the results to upload to RobotEvents, which can be viewed in the Uploaded Documents.  The state qualification spots are determined by the capacity of the State Championship, the number of events in the state, and the size of the event.  The number of state championship spots for each local event are initially determined by the event capacity and will be reassessed one week prior to the event.  If you have questions about the State Championship qualification process, please contact your Regional Support Manager, Lisa Schultz at Lisa_Schultz@roboticseducation.org.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If bad weather causes cancelation of event, registration funds will be returned minus processing fees.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be given after October 14th.  All refunds requested before October 14th will be honored minus a $5 processing fee.

Continue on 20th St SE

Drive to 83rd Ave SE and take a right at the light
