Changes to Tournament Structure
In an attempt to get more teams qualified for the NH/VT State Championship, we plan to restrict the alliance selection process. The top 8 teams cannot pick from the other 7 top teams. Alliance selection will proceed as a "snake drive." After the 8th seeded team selects its first alliance partner, it will be asked to select its 2nd partner. Selection will proceed to the 7th seeded alliance, then the 6th seeded team, and so on. We hope that the selection process will add some parity to the alliances and thereby qualify more teams.
