4:00 PM Inspection and Turn in Engineering Notebook

To be eligible for the Excellence Award, Oahu teams must participate in both Programming and Robot Skills and pass inspection on Friday. For Oahu teams, Skills Challenges will be held on Friday, August 28th, only. Each competing team will have three attempts at Programming and Robot Skills challenges. For this tournament, there are only three fields. One field for practice and two for the Qualifying Matches. On Friday, the 28th, there will be one Skills competition field, one practice field for Skills, and another field to practice for Qualification Matches.

Neighbor Island teams:
Accommodations will be made for neighbor island teams on Saturday for inspection and to turn in your Engineering Notebook and to record three attempts at Programming and Robot Skills. First attempt, will be completed before Qualifying Matches, second attempt will be at the mid point of Qualifying matches and your third and final attempt will be at the end of Qualifying Matches. Two minute grace period will be provided. Skill Challenges for neighbor island teams must be completed before we break for lunch.

8:30 AM Opening Ceremonies - Please be seated at your designated tables. No one should be practicing.

8:40 AM Skills Challenges for neighbor island teams

8:45 AM Qualifying Matches Begin. All Qualifying Matches will be completed before we break for lunch. Six Qualifying Matches per team

10:00 AM Refreshments Booth opens, Approximate time for neighbor island teams to complete their second attempt at Skills Challenges

12:00 PM Qualifying Matches End, final attempt at Skills Challenges for neighbor island teams.
Lunch - As a service project, Mililani High School's Future Farmers of America will be selling Hamburgers @ $2.50, Hot Dogs @ $1.50, Drinks: Soda, Juice and water @ $1.00
1:00 PM Lunch ends, Alliance Selection all teams will advance to eliminations

1:15 PM Eliminations begin, good luck to all teams

2:30 PM Awards / Clean up

4:00 PM Cafeteria closes

At the end of tournament, we ask all participants to help by stacking the chairs and tables away inside the cafeteria and by picking up trash in your area.

Important note to teams

Teams that have not checked in 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the qualifying matches will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run. Teams that are running late must contact the event partner prior to this cut off if they do not wish to be dropped.

Please note that teams that have not paid their event registration prior to the event may be dropped from the event at the Event Partner’s discretion.
